What are your service fees?

We generally base our fees on the amount of time that is charged to a job. Hourly rates will differ depending on the type and complexity of service being provided.

We are also able to offer fixed price agreements for services where clients prefer this option.

Do BGL Partners offer financial advice?

BGL Partners are not financial advisors. We do not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL). Therefore, we do not directly provide clients with advice on financial products, insurance and investments.

Nonetheless, we are able to assist our clients in these areas through our highly skilled referral partners who hold their own independent AFSL.

How do BGL Partners use cloud technology?

At BGL Partners we use cloud hosted apps for our accounting, taxation and document management. This enables us to work for our clients from any location with an internet connection.

We are also Xero Accredited Partners. Clients that are Xero Accounting users can receive real time assistance whenever it is needed.

BGL Partners is virtually a paperless office. We use online applications to provide clients with documentation and financial reports securely. We also utilise digital signing and secure ATO document delivery for our clients, all protected with multi-factor authentication.

CA, CPA... What is the difference?

The two main professional accounting bodies in Australia are CPA Australia (CPAA) and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).


BGL Partrners is a practice member of CAANZ and we are obliged to adhere to their code of professional conduct and quality control standards. Both of which are identical to those of CPAA. We are reviewed periodically by one of the two accounting bodies to maintain our accreditation.

Our professional team is made up of both CPAs and CAs with both designations being highly regarded in the profession.
